Good bye for now Feb. 13, 2024
She posted a video explaining much of it yesterday, but not
everything.
In fact, she made a point of not explaining the exact
reasons for her moving, except to say that it had been mounting for a while and
came to a head suddenly and sooner than she expected.
She wasn’t crying; yet it felt like she wanted to.
She didn’t say why exactly she chose to go back to that part
of New York State where she previously lived, except to say even though NY is
expensive, it is cheaper than where she is living currently – hinting that part
of the motivation may be financial.
She also pointed out that her family lives in the area
(somewhat south, but easier to reach than from where she is now.)
But she deliberately did not go into the gritty details of
the rest, which if judged by the pattern of her life, may involve a ruined
romance.
I don’t think this has anything to do with me or my decade
old journal that I have been posting, but I stopped posting – at least
temporarily – until I get a better idea of the situation.
She did solve the mystery of her job, which she said she was
keeping even though she was moving, claiming that she would continue the job
remotely, and had been doing the job remotely even where she lives currently for
about four years.
She will have to give up horse riding and the pony she just
started renting, due to an injury that horse riding tended to aggravate. This
is the most emotional part of the video, about giving up the horse life and
those friends associated with it, as well as the weekly videos she has been
posting about it.
She said she hopes to return to it when she gets to her new
location since there is horse riding in that area (as she should know since she
did some of that when she last lived there).
She said she would pick up again once things are settled and
would start up her videos again.
Her injury and her giving up the horse riding really has
nothing to do with the move, nor perhaps do the finances.
What she left out of the video looms large, since all the
factors she stated do not add up for a need to leave.
Because this is so similar a situation to previous dramatic
moves, it would seem logical to believe she needs to escape something else,
something far more debilitating, and something she needs a lot of distance from
in order to begin her life anew.
But the whole thing has an abrupt feel to it. She said it had
been coming on for a long time, but something changed recently and forced her
hand, and now, she’s in a rush to pack and relocate, saying the whole thing
will happen in about two weeks.
Without her weekly videos, I doubt whether or not there will
be any way to keep track of her, even though the videos are not quite as
revealing as her poetry was.
None the less, this last video filled in some of the blanks.
